Fancy getting off the sunbed and out onto the water? Cable skiing gives you 90 minutes of action right off Benidorm’s Levante Beach, with the cable pulling you around a circuit in the Mediterranean instead of the traditional speedboat.

You’ll start from the platform out at sea, get some guidance from the instructors and then it’s your turn to see how long you can stay upright. If skiing isn’t your thing, wakeboarding is also available.

It’s fast, fun and you should probably expect a few spectacular wipeouts along the way.

Who’s It For?

A great daytime activity for stag and hen groups who like a bit of competition and don’t mind getting wet.

Beginners can give it a go with help from the instructors, while anyone who has skied or wakeboarded before can get straight into it. It’s also a good choice for birthdays and groups of friends looking to break up a day on Levante Beach with something more active.

What to Expect

You’ll have 90 minutes to get to grips with cable skiing, with professional instructors there to help you get started.

Instead of being pulled behind a boat, you’re pulled around the sea circuit by an overhead cable system. Life jackets are provided, along with wetsuits during the colder months.

Prefer a board to skis? Wakeboarding is also available, so your group can choose how they want to take on the circuit.

And when you inevitably come off? You’re already in the Mediterranean.

Good to Know Before You Book

Do we need any experience?

No. You don’t need to be an experienced water skier. Professional instructors are there to help you get started.

Do we need to be able to swim?

Yes. As this activity takes place out at sea, you need to be able to swim.

What should we bring?

Bring swimwear, a towel and sun cream. A life jacket is provided, and wetsuits are available during the colder months.

Can we go wakeboarding instead?

Yes. Wakeboarding is also available if you’d rather take on the circuit on a board.

We recommend booking at least 6-8 weeks in advance, especially if you’re travelling during the busy stag and hen season, and if you have a larger group.
