What more could you want than a weekend away with your mates with plenty of sun, sea and partying? Salou is one of Spain’s most popular resorts for party weekends, stag and hen groups. It has an incredible beach of white sand, and crystal clear water that’s perfect for parascending, jet skiing or hiring a pedalo. You can laze around in the sun all day on the beach, pick up the chilled tunes from the nearest bar, sip a cool drink and eye up the toned and tanned bodies. If you want a more active day then the nearest water park is Wet N Wild, complete with standard slides and a few hairy ones like the death slide! There’s also Port Adventura theme park for some scary rides, rollercoasters and a good fun day out with your mates.

Most of Salou’s nightlife is based around the Carlos Buigas area, also known as ‘slammers’ which is a beach front street. Many of the cocktail bars overlook the beach, so you can start the night off with some local concoctions and bar hop to your hearts content. Stop in at Murphy’s Sports Pub which is just one of many Irish pubs. The nightclub Kiss is a large clubbers venue and very popular with locals and visitors.
