Sharing two people to a buggy, you’ll leave the busy resort behind and follow your guide along authorised roads towards some of the best-known spots around Benidorm, including Sierra Helada, Alfaz del Pi, Altea and Albir Beach.

Choose from 1, 2 or 3-hour tours, from a quick run through the countryside and along the coast to a longer trip taking in mountain villages and the Algar Waterfalls.

Take the Scenic Route

Benidorm might be famous for its beaches and nightlife, but you don’t have to travel far to find mountain views, coastal roads and some cracking scenery.

This is your chance to swap the bars for a buggy, get behind the wheel and enjoy the journey as much as the destination. You’ll follow an experienced guide, so there’s no route planning or arguing over directions – just stick with the group and enjoy the drive.

The 1-hour tour takes you through Alfaz del Pi towards Altea, with country roads and coastal views around Altea and Albir.

Choose the 2-hour tour and you'll head further inland through La Nucía, Polop and Callosa d’en Sarrià before making your way towards the coast.

The 3-hour tour heads to the Algar Waterfalls, where you'll have an hour of free time to explore, enjoy the waterfalls or stop for a drink. You'll then make your way back along the coastline and beaches of Altea and Albir. Entry to the waterfalls, drinks and snacks are not included.

No. The current buggy tours follow authorised roads, giving you the chance to enjoy the scenery around Benidorm, Altea, Albir and the surrounding area.

Can both people drive the buggy?
If both meet the driver's age, experience and licence requirements, check with us when booking and we'll confirm the arrangements.

What do I need to drive a buggy?
Drivers must be at least 26 years old, have held a driving licence for at least two years and bring their licence with them.

Which buggy tour should we choose?
Short on time? The 1-hour tour gives you countryside and coastal scenery around Alfaz del Pi, Altea and Albir. The 2-hour tour adds La Nucía, Polop and Callosa d’en Sarrià, while the 3-hour option takes you to the Algar Waterfalls with an hour of free time there.

What happens before we set off?
Everyone will need to sign a disclaimer before the tour. You'll then have a safety briefing and be shown how the buggy works before setting off with your guide.

Is entry to the Algar Waterfalls included?
You’ll have one hour of free time at Algar to explore the waterfalls, take in the scenery or relax with a drink. Waterfall entry, food and drinks are not included in the tour price and are paid for separately.

What should we wear and bring with us?
Wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes or trainers suitable for driving. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a cap or hat and plenty of water, especially during the warmer months. A light jacket can also be handy in cooler weather.
